Well, it's an ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and create media content critically. It involves understanding how media messages shape our perceptions, beliefs, and behaviors, and being able to navigate and interpret various forms of media effectively. Media literacy skills are essential in today's digital age to discern between fact and fiction, identify biases, and make informed decisions about the media we consume.

In today's world, in this digital era where people are more realiable to e-news and social media we need to see we need to fact check whether the information we are reading or watching is true or not. Before we share it with our friends or family or anyone we know.

Because there are many people who are disseminating misinformation in the society which is somehow harm for us and our family and we really need to look over it..

I hope you all use Instagram right ? Few days back I was scrolling Instagram reels and I saw that there was video of a very renowned celebrity Mr. Jitendra kapoor and the info was that he had died and I was shocked I thought of tell it to everyone but firstly I went to fact check the information , and then I know that it was absolutely a wrong information.  Well these fake news are very common in social media even through fake images people get confused like the example I gave in that there was an image in which Amitabh bachan was in someones funeral and they pasted in the news of Mr. Jitendra kapoor .

So buy doing this I proved my self that I am a media literate. And I want you all to be a media literate too. So before sharing any information Google it and fact check whether it's true or not. And i also want u all to tell others about media literacy and make them also a media literate.
