Elements of photography

Hello world!
Welcome to another blog. I hope you all are doing well. 😊
Today we will know about the elements of photography...
There are seven basic elements of photographs- line, shape, form, texture, color, space, and depth.

1. Lines- Instead of attracting attention like dots do, lines lead the viewer along a specific course, or they mark a separation, such as between the ground and the sky.

2.Colour- Color is one of the most fundamental aspects of any environment. The "color wheel" is the result of combining various shades of the main colors red, blue, and yellow.
3. Form- The form is among the elements of photography that gives shape to the objects. It is where you give a three-dimensional representation of your objects, it can be 2d or 3d.

4. Texture- Finding and incorporating objects with fascinating textures in our shot is what the texture category is all about.

5. Space- When we talk about space, we’re talking about the negative space, filled space, the space between two objects in the image, and the overall distance.

6. Depth- It's an image is offered by visual cues. Depth is another one of the elements of photography that depends on lighting along with shadows, the distance of your camera to the object, your position, and your angle.

7. Shapes- Shape is created in a photograph by the elements like a door, the area around a tree, or the tiles in a bathroom or food. We can use them as decoration or as "frames" for our artwork.

Composition in Photography

Hello world!
Welcome to another blog. I hope you all are doing well. 😊
Today we will discuss about the compositions of photography...

So, while clicking pictures there are few.
Composition which we have to take care and also have information about it...

1. Point of interest- Identify a primary point of interest before taking the picture. When you have determined which area is the most important to you, you can compose to emphasize it.

2. Simplicity- Be sure that only the things you want the viewer to see appear in the picture.
If there are numerous objects cluttering up the background, your message will be lost. If you cannot find an angle of framing to isolate your subject, consider using depth of field control to keep the background out of focus.

3. Contrast- A light subject will have more impact if placed against a dark background and vice versa. Contrasting colors may be used for emphasis but can become distracting if you consider carefully.

4. Balance- Placing the main subject of center and balancing the weight with other Objects will be more effective than placing the subject in the center.
5. Framing- A frame in a photograph is Something in the foreground that leads you into the picture. Or give you a sense of where the viewer is, so it is very important to frame your picture perfectly.

6. Viewpoint- You can often change a picture dramatically by moving the camera up or down or stepping to one side. One of the best ways to come up with a prize. Winning photograph is to find an unusual point of view.

7. Direction of movement- When the subject is capable of movement such as animal or person, it is best to leave space in front of the subject, so it appears to be moving in to rather than out of the photograph.

8. Diagonals- Linear elements such as roads waterways and fences placed diagonally are generally perceived as more dynamic than horizontals.

9. Rule of third- Last but not the least is something called the 'ruler of third'. This is a principle taught in graphic design and photography and is based on the theory that the eyes go naturally to the point about 2/3 up the page. Also, by, visually dividing the image into thirds either vertically or horizontally you achieve the in formular asymmetric balance mentioned above.

How to use Grid Lines in Camera

Hello world!
Welcome to my another blog. I hope you all are doing well. 😊
Today, we will know how to use Grid lines in the camera so that we can make our photograph perfect ?

https://images.app.goo.gl/LFZLs4C6QgCzqEe8A
Rule of third in digital photography is one of the most powerful techniques, which help you in positioning different elements in the photos.
Most modern smartphone cameras now can overlay the lines over the screen before taking the photos, it is inbuilt already so that it become easy to use. Basically it is used to make the photographs more asethetic and pleasant...

https://images.app.goo.gl/DPsvz7FowkNwj5pa8
As you can see the picture it involves dividing an image into nine equal parts by drawing two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced vertical lines, creating a grid with nine equally sized boxes....

▪️Divide the frame: Through the camera's viewfinder, divide your image into thirds both horizontally and vertically, creating the nine equally sized boxes.
▪️Placement of subjects: When composing your shot, try to place the most important elements of your scene along these gridlines or at their intersections. For example, if you're photographing a landscape with a beautiful sunset, you might place the horizon along the lower or upper horizontal line, depending on whether the sky or the foreground is more captivating.

Example:

In this picture also Rule of third has been used
the photographer has putten the subject on the right side. The dog has been placed at the intersecting line that's why it is giving a different and an asethetic look.....

Take care
Thank you✌️
