Embracing Light: Visually Impaired in Orphanages

Hello World!
Life is not same for everyone. Do you know that we are so lucky to be, what we have... Because there are thousands who are suffering for a healthy life...
In a world filled with challenges and triumphs, the visually impaired individuals in orphanages display remarkable resilience and strength. This blog aims to shed light on the unique experiences, real life stories, and support systems available to those who are blind or visually impaired in orphanage settings.
Guru Nanak Mission Netra Heen Birdh Ashram, Phagwara (G.N.M.N.B. Ashram)
This orphanage was established in 1993, by Avtar Singh Mann, Gian Singh Surjit, Sital Singh Sitara and Rajinder Singh Bhatti, On the place of Sutlej and beas, Phagwara on the name of God. They were self-suffering from the problem of disability but after suffering and facing all the problems they made this place for the people so that others don't face the same as they did.
Stories:
Mr. Pawan Kumar Tiwari from Haryana
He had lost his eyesight in childhood. He has 3 brothers. After the death of his parents his brothers left him in this orphanage and now, he is totally dependent on this orphanage. Sometimes his brothers come to meet him. He is also a good singer and this orphanage teach music to every individual and many other instruments too like Tabla, harmonium and also provide education
Mr. Kuldeep Singh from Kapurthala
He is 35 years old and lost his eyesight in an accident in a foggy day while driving. He had also lost his hearing power. After 6 years he got operated. He is staying here from 1.5 years and now his medical facilities are looked up by the orphanage. He got married in 2018 and her wife left her and took her child too. Now he is alone having is father left in his family sometimes he goes back to home, and few of his friends come to meet him. According to him, "Just believe God because nobody is yours, either its family or relatives."

Don't you think we need to change this perspective?
I know it's not easy, but we can do something instead of nothing. Because every individual deserves a support. Not from the perspective of making a person dependent but just to support. It's not their choice to be like that it's not their fault to be like that. It's completely natural. So, help them, when anyone need you a lot. What' s your opinion on this??
