Do you know! What is Municipal corporation? 
The local governing body in India in which urban areas having population more than one million because they need someone to provide services which carries out its function through well-organized divisions or departments. For example, water supply and sewage disposal Undertaking, Housing Board, Electricity Department, fire brigade. Each of these Departments are looked after by experienced and qualified people, Come under Municipal corporation.

Every Municipal corporation have their specific logo for their identification. All the places which come under them their road map, or any house map is approved by the commissioner. For this post a person can apply for UPSC or their state center exam. The population of the place is 1.2 lakh, and they have 50 wards and each wards have a council member who select one and later he/she becomes mayor (political leader). All the council member or mayor are assigned for 5 years. 
In small villages for solving these types of problems we have Nagar panchayat.
Although you can contact and get your problem resolved but as being the public, the users see that you are not harming or destroying the property, not littering here and there, not using excessively lights or water if not in use. Because it's our responsibility to make our society beautiful and preserving resources too.

Bharat Bandh : Farmer protest

On 16 February 2024 the farmers' union has called for nationwide strike "Bharat Bandh," organized by the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and Samyukta Kisna. Scheduled from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, farmers aimed to highlight unfulfilled promises and demand changes through chakka jams (road blockades) on major routes across the country.

This coordinated effort seeks to strengthen the farmers' voices and compel the government to adequately respond to their demands. According to India.com, various private and government offices, and village shops may remain shut on Friday. Besides, transportation, agricultural activities, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) rural works, and rural industrial and service sector institutions are likely to remain closed.

What they want??
The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) has written to Prime Minister demanding a Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops based on the Swaminathan formula of C2 50 (input cost of capital 50%), legal guarantee of procurement, debt waiver, no hike in electricity tariff and no smart meters and they also demanded free 300 units of power for farming for domestic use and shops, comprehensive crop insurance, and a hike in pensions to ₹10,000 per month among others.
